The back door to the library will be blocked on Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19 for the construction of a new wheelchair ramp in the basement hallway.

In recognition of National Poetry Month, the Greenfield Public Library will be holding a Poets' Supper poetry workshop each Wednesday in April from 6 to 8 p.m. in the LeVanway Room of the library.
As with our daily Writers' Lunch, participants are encouraged to bring a bag supper to eat during the session. The workshop will be lead by Joannah Whitney, who also leads the Friday Writers' Workshop @ Writers' Lunch. It is open to poets of all levels of experience. The workshops will culminate in a reading to be held May 1 from 6 to 8 in the LeVanway Room.

The Friends will be at Greenfield Farmers Cooperative Exchange (269 High Street) on March 16th from 9am until 1pm selling raffle tickets for a set of beautifully hand-crafted flower bookends & gardening books. These unique bookends will be displayed and tickets sold at the library until the drawing on May 4 at the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library's Plant and Book Sale. Check out the raffle items on the GPL Friends' Facebook page. Tickets are $1.00 each.
