Hoopla offers free digital magazines, audiobooks, music, and eBooks. All items are always available and can have multiple simultaneous checkouts, so you never have to wait for anything! (GPL cardholders only; limit of 4 items per month.)

Due to additional cuts in our materials budget for FY2027, GPL has made the difficult decision to change the availability of our Hoopla Digital collection. Cardholders will now be limited to 4 borrows per month, and the total we can spend on the platform has been cut in half. We apologize for any inconvenience and are always doing our best to provide the fullest platform possible.

You may start seeing a message about "daily limits" when you try to borrow materials. This means we have reached our daily borrowing limit. Due to Hoopla's popularity, we have placed a cap on the daily cost in order to keep our budget in line. Please note, the "daily limit" notice may or may not appear each day.
