Kanopy showcases award-winning documentaries, rare and hard-to-find titles, film festival favorites, indie and classic films, world cinema, The Great Courses, and PBS. (GPL cardholders only.)

Due to funding, GPL has unfortunately made the difficult decision to put a cap on the monthly borrows we can authorize for patrons. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Why won't Kanopy let me borrow movies at the end of the month? This means users have reached the end of our monthly budget. Once the next month starts, you will be able to borrow again. If you have a Boston Public Library ecard, you can also use their Kanopy subscription.

For security purposes, the upstairs floor closes 15 minutes before closing time. Main doors are locked 5 minutes before closing.
