Do you love to cook and want to try new flavors and recipes? Stop by the library and pick up this month’s Spice Club Kit, available on Tuesday, September 5.
In September, we are cooking with sage, a perennial herb that has a distinctive flavor: woody hints of pine, mint, eucalyptus, and often, citrus. Included in this month’s kit are a sample of sage, recipes and information, along with tips on propagating and growing the herb.
Registration is not required, but supplies are limited. Spice Kits can be picked up at the Reader’s Advisory Desk on the second floor, on a first come, first served basis.
This program, generously supported by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 13 and over.
